No product is received or bought for review. Every judgment on this site comes from public sources and owner reports, read closely and weighed against each other: the accounts of people who carried the bag, the maker's own specifications, the listing's claims held against what owners say happened to the bag after a season. Where the sources disagree, the page says which side it believes and why. Each page lists what it read at its foot.
Who writes it
The site is written and edited by David King, who has run it since it began. The writing has one voice and one standard: nothing invented, every finding traceable to something someone said or measured, and a verdict someone could disagree with.
